Manasa Ashraya is a charitable old age home nestled amidst the serene greenery near Rangasthala Temple in Chikkaballapur, Karnataka. It currently houses 25 elderly residents, many of whom have been abandoned or have no one left to care for them. The home is run with compassion and commitment by a dedicated doctor couple — Dr. Madhukar and Dr. Sushma — who also operate a hospital in Chikkaballapur.
Spread across 1 acre of peaceful land, Manasa Ashraya is surrounded by hills, rivers, and temples, offering a tranquil and healing environment for its residents. The facility provides food, shelter, accommodation, and basic necessities — entirely free of cost. All medical care and daily needs of the residents are taken care of by the founders, ensuring dignity, comfort, and companionship in the later stages of life.

Our mission
Manasa Ashraya is dedicated to providing abandoned and neglected elderly individuals with a secure, peaceful, and respectful living environment. Our mission is to offer free shelter, nutritious food, medical care, and emotional support to senior citizens who have no family or financial means. We aim to ensure that every resident is treated with dignity, compassion, and the care they deserve in their later years.
Our vision
Our vision is to build a society where no elderly person suffers from neglect or loneliness. We aspire to become a model for elderly care — where every individual, regardless of their background or circumstances, receives love, attention, and basic necessities without any cost. We hope to inspire more communities to take responsibility for their elders and create a culture of empathy, respect, and active care for senior citizens.
